EQN was established by experienced projects manager and researcher to commercialise outputs of privately funded research from companies and also including the results of EC funded projects and academic research.

The company has been involved in helping clients to bring new products in the technolgy space to both a national and international market. There is extensive experience available that will save companies valuable time in deciding whether to launch a new product or a product into a new market. Particular expertise is available to software houses and technology developers through an extensive and experienced international network

The Managing Director has over 14 years experience in publicly funded projects, in particular in dealing with the European Commission and Enterprise Ireland. Currently working with a number of clients to help them attune to the economic downturn. The Managing Director was also the Chief Executive of a National Network of Research Institutions in Ireland from 1999 to December 2006. He also organised 9 National conferences in Ireland on technology research , was an advisor to the Irish Telecommunications Regulator. He is a member of the International Systems Security Association, and the Institute of Management Consultants and Advisers.
